The Rockpress Pacific Superkart Challenge will be Superkart racing's third appearance on the Shannons Nationals this year.

Posted by Mark Jones, 19 July 2009, 6:35 PM The new Australian champion Sam Zavaglia celebrated his title by winning the fourth and final race of the weekend, much in the same manner as the previous three races had panned out. The 125cc title went down to the final race, with Steven Tamasi in the Domain Prestige Homes Stockman-Honda hanging on to his championship lead by just five points over the charging Jeff Reed (Cycle City/Telgrit Stockman-Honda) who did all he could by winning all four races.

The Sydney-based international Superkart racer now has one hand on the www.artmotorsport.com.au Australian Superkart Championship, which is being held as part of Round 6 of the Shannons National Motor Racing Championships.
