Warren McIlveen has won his second race of the weekend at the Rockpress Pacfific Superkart Challenge, being held at the Morgan Park Raceway round of the Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championships.

This time McIlveen (Mac's Marine/Soundy's Retravision Stockman-Honda) faced much stronger opposition from a faster Vince Livaditis in the Top Dog Advertising PVP. McIlveen found extra pace in the closing laps and was able to move clear to take the win.

Behind Livaditis a much improved Jason Laker (1800 Bumper Stockman-Honda) climbed into third position fighting past Steve Murray in the Gas Action Services PVP-Honda. Jamieson climbed from the tail of the field to take fifth position in a storming drive.

Sixth place was taken by a back on form John Pellicano in the Giova Design Avoig-Honda after curing the vibration that affected his pace yesterday. 'Pelly' quickly raced through the field from a rear of grid start to take sixth and win the 125cc class to put himself back into contention for the Pacific Superkart Championship. Drene Jamieson (Coach Design Stockman-Honda) finished in seventh position to take second in the 125cc class ahead of the 250 International of Cameron Hoswell and yesterdays 125 class winner Brian Wild. Stewart Bell (Traffic Management Systems Gladiator-Yamaha) finished in tenth position, also taking out the 85cc class. David McAdam won the Rotax Max class in the RFC Race Team Hypermax-Rotax.
