PHILLIP ISLAND ENTRIES NEED TO BE ON THEIR WAY THIS WEEKEND RACERS!

Phillip Island Entry closing date 12th April 2010

Due to the SKA Registration Scheme coming just before the opening of entries for Phillip Island some confusion is about people thinking that having filled out their Shannons Series Entry, that they have done paperwork for the Phillip Island Round. Not so. Shannons system requires the separate Phillip Island Entry Confirmation to be completed by all entrants. If there has been any confusion or misunderstanding SKA apologises for the inconvenience.

To ensure you have a valid Race Entry for the Round 1 of the Australian Superkart Championships at Phillip Island on May 1st/2nd, you need to have done these things;

  1. Complete a Shannons Series Entry Form – has on it your details, vehicle details etc
  2. Join SKA as a Racing Member – SKA runs the Australian Superkart Championship with Shannons
  3. Complete a Phillip Island Entry Confirmation Form – has your entry confirmation, scrutiny and pit disclaimer
  4. Pay your SKA Membership fees and Phillip Island Round Entry Fees

Most of you have already Registered early for the Australian Superkart Championship and joined SKA on or before March 31st.  If you did this, you will be named on the Registration List on the SKA News Item of April 8th. If so, you will only have to complete the Phillip Island Entry Form and pay the discounted Entry Fees of $410.00 to SKA.

If you did not participate in the early Registration Scheme and have not joined SKA yet, for you to enter to race at the Australian Superkart Championship Round at Phillip Island you will need to complete the SKA Racing Membership, the Shannons Series Entry form and the Shannons Phillip Island Entry Confirmation forms. Your full Entry Fees to pay to SKA will be $490.00 plus the $50.00 SKA Membership, totalling $540.00

The necessary forms are able to be downloaded from this website under the Forms tab. Please read the details document carefully as all of the answers to any questions you may have will be found there along with the Forms to fill in and where to post them.
