New South Wales Begins

Round 1 of the 2010 Superkart Club of NSW Championship kicks off this Sunday January 31 at Wakefield Park. With an impressive kart count currently at 22, with a few late entries still filtering in, this should be a good start to the year for NSW.
12 months ago NSW ran at numbers of around 14, so to see this type of entry count with some regulars missing is quite impressive. NSW is heading in the right direction. With a good mix of fields, the main being 10 Maxes, 9 125 gearboxes and 3 250 Internationals, it will be interesting to see how all fair. Most interest will centre around 125 champion Jeff Reed and John Pellicano. These two have gone toe to toe in 2009 with Pellicano being virtually untouchable at the back end, while Reedy's great early season form was to big of a task to overtake. Both drivers are pumped for the win especially now all points are zero.
NSW welcomes interstate friends Anton Stevens and David Yuill to this meeting, two fantastic guys with great talent.
Another great year is shaping for NSW with 4 AASA events to be held at Wakefield Park and also a 3 round State championship at Eastern Creek starting on March 14-15.
