PROVISIONAL ROUND DATES AND VENUES
ROUND 1 – PHILLIP ISLAND GP CIRCUIT - MAY 25-27
ROUND 2 – QUEENSLAND RACEWAY - AUGUST 10-12
SKA can inform members of the above Program for the 2012 Championship to assist team and competitor planning.
Queensland Raceway has undergone a complete resurfacing and is set to host V8 Supercars just prior to the August date, so the facility should be at its best and SKA is excited to offer competitors a venue that many will not have raced at before.
Following considerations, SKA will again conduct the Australian Superkart Championship in conjunction with Shannons Nationals Series. Rob Curkpatrick and his organisation have provided a well run, viable and reliable platform for superkart championship racing and superkarts continue to be an integral part of their annual season motorsport planning.

Footnote re Superkarts on TV:
As previously advised, we have the Sports sedan/Superkart feature on Speedweek this coming Sunday December 11th. We now have a bonus with the show going to ‘Inside Speed’ this coming Friday on Fox Speed Channel at 9.30pm. Normally the Fox shows have to wait until after Speedweek has gone to air, but because the show was put back a week we are able to get the Fox show on first.
